Shopping for my 16 month old toddler is both exciting and exhausting—so I’ve been on a mission to find places that make it easier to build a cute, wearable wardrobe. I’ve tried both ends of the spectrum: investing in kids clothes and buying cheap. I totally get the appeal of cheap sets (they grow fast!), but for my family, what works best is choosing pieces that are stylish, good quality, and intentionally oversized. This allows his fits to feel vibey annnnd makes the clothes stay in rotation for longer…win, win!
The best part? Resale value. When I buy cheap, it usually doesn’t hold up through all the washes we do, and the resale value is so low that it ends up in the trash—straight to the landfill.

One of my absolute favorite local spots is Parachute Brooklyn. It’s like a Beacon’s Closet, for kids! I bring Arthur’s gently used clothes, accessories, and shoes there, and in exchange, I get a credit to shop their amazing selection. They have high-quality pieces for kids of all ages, plus an incredible variety of vintage kids clothing that makes styling so much fun. We’re helping extend the life of what we already have and leaving with fresh, unique finds for Arthur.

Another brand I specifically wanted to call out is Petit Pli. The fabrics are truly exceptional, and their clothing is designed to grow—spanning from newborn up to age four.

Below are my favorite brands and stores to shop for Arthur and HERE you can find exact links to his fits!
- Local Brooklyn Stores:
- Tiny Cottons – classic and chic
- Molo – their prints are iconic!

That’s my short and sweet take: I’m choosing quality, style, and oversized fits—not just for today, but for how it holds up tomorrow (and resale later). Thanks for reading, and I can’t wait to hear where you love shopping for your little one—DM or drop me a comment on Instagram!
